HYDROSUB 550
The HydroSub 550 is a mobile pumping unit driven by a powerful diesel engine with radiator cooling. It consists of a diesel-hydraulic pumping unit with a portable hydraulically driven submersible pump. This mobile unit is transported by a truck with a hook lift system. The submersible pump supplies the fixed main boost pump installed in the pump housing of the container. Inside the housing is a storage compartment for the 1 x 60m 10″ lay flat supply hose. The 60m hydraulic hose length provides access to almost any open water at a combined distance of up to 60m and/or 10-15m vertical. The unit also has a hydraulically operated support winch to recover the submersible pump after installation.
Foam Injection
An integrated Hytrans PowerFoam system (HS550F) is available as an option, allowing pre-mixing of foam from 0.5% to 6%. The electronically controlled, hydraulically operated foam pump provides precision and continuous selection of foam percentage.

- At 10m or 33ft of pump lift: 15,000lpm at 12bar (4000GPM at 150psi)
- At 15m or 50ft of pump lift: 14,000 lpm @ 12 bar (3700 GPM @ 175 psi)

- Vital parameters are monitored and recorded (e.g. oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel level, engine temperature, etc.)
- Audio and visual alarms are generated when a parameter is out of settings
- Machine status light, ambient lighting and work light
- Automatic water pressure adjustment
